Free Plan
Best for trying Aletheia. You get one child profile and limited weekly tutoring access. No credit card is required to start.
Starter Plan
Best for one child who will use Aletheia regularly. Starter includes full tutoring access for one active child profile, plus core learning features such as homework help and progress reports.
Family Plan
Best for families with multiple children. Family supports up to 5 active child profiles and adds family-oriented features such as leaderboard options and Privacy Shield availability.
Family+ Plan
Best for larger families or homeschool-style households. Family+ supports up to 10 active child profiles, longer sessions, advanced analytics, Privacy Shield availability, and priority support.
If you need more than 10 active children on Family+, contact support. Do not create extra parent accounts to work around the limit; support can help route the request properly.
Active vs. Archived Children
Plan limits count active child profiles. Archived children do not consume active child seats, and their data is preserved for later restoration.
If you cannot add another child, check whether you have reached your active child limit. You may need to archive an inactive profile or change plans.
Monthly and Annual Billing
Where available, plans can be billed monthly or annually. Your active billing cycle is managed by Stripe and shown on the Billing page. If the app and an email receipt ever disagree, trust the Stripe billing portal and contact support.
How to Upgrade
- Sign in to your parent account.
- Go to Billing.
- Select the plan and billing cycle you want.
- Continue through the Stripe-hosted checkout or customer portal.
- Return to Aletheia after confirmation.
Upgrades usually take effect immediately after Stripe confirms the change.
How to Downgrade or Cancel
Use Billing to open the Stripe-hosted customer portal. Downgrades and cancellations generally apply at the end of the current billing period unless Stripe shows otherwise.
Downgrading does not delete child data. If the lower plan has fewer child seats, archive extra profiles before or after the change as prompted.
Plan Changes, Proration, and Payment Confirmation
Stripe handles proration, invoices, payment authentication, and saved payment methods. Some plan changes may require you to confirm payment in the Stripe portal before Aletheia can activate the change.
Billing Questions
See Billing Questions & Issues, or contact support for plan, invoice, or refund help.
COPPA note: Aletheia never charges children directly. Billing is controlled through the parent account only.
