Your parent dashboard is the control center for your family's learning. Here's a complete guide to managing child profiles.

Viewing Your Children

From your Dashboard, you'll see a card for each child profile showing:

  • Their name and avatar
  • Current streak (days in a row they've been active)
  • Total stars earned
  • Last active date
  • Quick links to their conversation history and progress

Click any child's card to open their full profile.

Editing a Child Profile

To edit a profile:

  1. Click the child's card from the dashboard
  2. Click Edit Profile (pencil icon)
  3. You can change:
    • Name or nickname
    • Age (updates subject recommendations)
    • Subjects (add or remove)
    • Avatar
    • PIN

Note: Changing a child's PIN takes effect immediately. Make sure to tell your child their new PIN.

Resetting a PIN

If your child forgets their PIN:

  1. Go to Dashboard → [Child's name] → Edit Profile
  2. Click Reset PIN
  3. Enter a new 4-digit PIN
  4. Save changes

Viewing Conversation History

You can review every conversation your child has had with the AI tutor:

  1. Click the child's card
  2. Select Conversation History
  3. Browse sessions by date
  4. Click any session to read the full transcript

This is useful for understanding what topics your child has been exploring and identifying areas where they might need extra help.

Viewing Progress

The Progress tab on each child's profile shows:

  • Subjects studied and time spent
  • Topics covered and mastery level
  • Quiz scores over time
  • Flashcard review history
  • Stars and badges earned

Adding a New Child

Click + Add Child from your dashboard. You'll need a Family or Family+ plan to add more than one child (Free and Starter plans support 1 child). See Subscription Plans for details.

Archiving a Profile

If a child has graduated, no longer uses Aletheia, or you simply want to tidy up:

  • You can archive a profile instead of deleting it
  • Archived profiles are hidden from the main dashboard
  • All data (conversations, progress, flashcards) is preserved
  • You can restore an archived profile at any time

See Archiving Child Profiles for full instructions.

Deleting a Profile

Profile deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All conversation history, flashcards, and progress data will be lost.

To delete: Dashboard → Child Profile → Settings → Delete Profile → Confirm

We recommend archiving instead of deleting unless you're sure.
