Community Curriculum Marketplace

Browse, preview, and copy curricula shared by other parents, publish your own, and understand what's shared and how moderation works.

The Community Curriculum Marketplace lets parents share custom subjects with each other. You can copy a curriculum another family built, or publish one of your own.

Note: Marketplace content is created by other Aletheia parents, not by Aletheia. Always review a shared curriculum before your child uses it.

Browsing the Marketplace

Sign in to your parent account and click Community in the sidebar.

  • Search by subject, topic, or publisher name
  • Filter by Categories or All age ranges
  • Sort by Newest, Most Popular, or Top Rated

Click View on any listing to see its details.

Previewing a Curriculum

Each listing page shows:

  • The description, category, age range, and grade level
  • Topic Tree Preview: every topic and subtopic in the curriculum
  • Reviews: star ratings and comments from other parents
  • The Publisher name and how many listings they've shared
  • Download count and Similar Curriculum

Read the full topic tree before copying. It's the best way to check whether the content and level fit your child.

Copying a Curriculum to Your Child

  1. Open the listing and click Copy to My Child
  2. Under Which child?, choose a child
  3. Click Copy Subject

The curriculum is added as a new subject for that child, and you're taken to set it up. It's an independent copy:

  • You can edit, reorder, add, or remove topics
  • Changes you make don't affect the original listing
  • Later changes by the publisher don't change your copy
  • If the publisher deletes their listing, your copy stays

You can't copy the same listing to the same child twice, or copy a curriculum the child already has.

Note: If you see "You do not have permission to copy to this child," the child profile may have been created by your co-parent. Ask your co-parent to copy it for that child.

Publishing Your Own Curriculum

Before you start

  1. Set your publisher name. Go to Settings → Shared Curriculum and enter a Marketplace publisher display name (2–80 characters), then click Save publishing profile. This name appears on all your listings. Use a name you're comfortable being public, not your child's name.
  2. Check your topics. A subject needs at least 3 topics to be published.

Publish a subject

  1. Open your child's subject and click Share
  2. In Share Curriculum, fill in the Listing Title and Description (both required)
  3. Choose a Category and Target Age Range, and optionally a Grade Level
  4. Click Publish to Marketplace

You can't publish a curriculum that's identical to one already in the marketplace, or one that matches Aletheia's built-in curriculum.

What gets shared

Publishing creates a public snapshot that includes:

  • Your listing title, description, category, age range, and grade level
  • Every topic name and topic description in the subject
  • Your publisher display name

Your child's progress, quiz scores, and tutoring conversations are not shared.

Important: Topic names and descriptions are published exactly as they appear. If you've added your child's name, school, location, or other personal details to a subject, title, or description, remove them before publishing. Aletheia doesn't automatically remove personal information from what you write.

The snapshot is taken when you publish. Later edits to your child's subject don't update the listing.

Managing Your Listings

Go to Settings → Shared Curriculum to see My Marketplace Listings.

ActionWhat it does
Edit (pencil icon)Change the title, description, category, age range, or grade level. It doesn't change the topics.
UnpublishHides the listing from browsing and saves it as a Draft
RepublishMakes a draft visible again
DeleteRemoves the listing from the marketplace. Deleted listings can't be restored.

Unpublishing or deleting a listing doesn't remove copies other parents have already made.

If you delete your Aletheia account, your listings and reviews are deleted too.

Reviews

On a listing's Reviews tab you can give a 1–5 star rating and an optional comment, then click Submit Review. You can leave one review per listing and update it any time. You can't review your own listing.

Note: Reviews show the name on your Aletheia account, not your marketplace publisher name.

Click Helpful on reviews you found useful.

Reporting a Listing or Review

If something looks inappropriate, wrong, or spammy:

  • Click Report Subject on the Reviews tab to report the listing, or Report under a specific review
  • Choose a reason (Inappropriate content, Factually incorrect, Spam or advertising, or Other), add details, and click Submit Report

Reports go to the Aletheia team for review. A listing may be hidden from browsing while reports are reviewed.

How Moderation Works

When you publish a listing, edit one, or post a review comment, the text is checked automatically for things like profanity, harassment, or other content that isn't appropriate for a family marketplace. If something is flagged, you'll see "Please revise the highlighted fields before publishing."

This check is automated and isn't guaranteed. It can miss things, and it isn't designed to detect personal information. That's why it's important to:

  • Review any curriculum before your child uses it
  • Keep personal details out of anything you publish
  • Report anything that shouldn't be there
