Welcome to Aletheia! Getting started is quick — you can have your account up and a child profile ready in under five minutes.

Sign-Up Options

Aletheia supports two ways for parents to create an account:

  • Google Sign-In — fastest option; one click with your existing Google account
  • Email & Password — sign up with any email address and a password of your choice

Note: Only parent accounts use Google/email login. Children sign in differently — see How Children Sign In for details.

Steps to Create Your Account

1. Go to the Sign-Up Page

Visit aletheiatutor.com and click Get Started or Sign Up.

2. Choose Your Login Method

With Google:

  1. Click Continue with Google
  2. Select or enter your Google account
  3. Grant the permissions Aletheia requests (name, email only — we never access Gmail or Drive)

With Email:

  1. Enter your full name
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Create a strong password (8+ characters)
  4. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  5. Click Create Account

3. Add Your First Child Profile

Once your account is created, you'll be guided to add a child profile. See Adding a Child Profile for the next step.

Account Security Tips

  • Use a unique password not shared with other services
  • If using email/password login, consider enabling a password manager
  • Your account email is also where support replies will be sent — keep it accurate

Troubleshooting Sign-Up Issues

"Email already in use" — You may have already signed up. Try signing in with Google if you used that method, or contact support for help.

Google sign-in not working — Make sure you're not blocking third-party cookies in your browser. Try a different browser or an incognito/private window if the issue persists.
