Your avatar is your identity in Aletheia. As you learn, you earn rewards and unlock more ways to customize it.

Your Avatar

Every child profile starts with an avatar. You can view it from your dashboard or profile page, then open the avatar customizer to make changes.

Customizing Your Avatar

Depending on what is available in your account, you may be able to change:

  • Avatar style.
  • Hair, face, eyes, mouth, or other character features.
  • Colors and backgrounds.
  • Accessories such as glasses, hats, or other extras.
  • Randomized looks using shuffle controls.

Locked options show that you need to earn or unlock them first.

How Unlocks Work

Aletheia unlocks avatar items through learning achievements. Common unlock paths include:

  • Completing quizzes.
  • Mastering topics.
  • Getting strong quiz scores.
  • Keeping learning streaks.
  • Reviewing flashcards.
  • Studying multiple subjects.
  • Earning stars.
  • Completing longer or more consistent study sessions.

Unlocks are meant to reward learning effort, not perfection.

Stars and Streaks

Stars reward completed learning activities, quizzes, and progress. Streaks count days when you come back and learn.

If you miss a day, your streak may reset, but your unlocked items and prior learning progress are still yours.

Previewing and Saving

The avatar customizer may show static previews before you save. If a preview looks different from the saved avatar, try saving again or refreshing the page.

Do Rewards Expire?

Unlocked avatar items stay attached to your profile. They do not disappear just because you switch subjects or take a break.

Some premium features may depend on your family's active plan, but earned learning history remains part of your profile.

Tips

  • Try a new look after reaching a milestone.
  • Use streaks as a reminder, not a punishment.
  • Focus on learning first; rewards are the bonus.
